EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Introduction

DKLOW (PTY) LTD is a South African company that currently manufactures and sells homemade vegetable achar (spicy pickled vegetables) and we have ventured into fish farming which will become our main business activity and speciality.

The company was founded in 2019, with the goal of becoming a successful Tilapia Fish Farm and Vegetable achar producing entity in the province of Limpopo. Having conducted extensive research, Miss Dakalo Mulamu, the founder and sole owner of DKLOW (PTY) LTD, learned that there is a great demand for tilapia fish in South Africa which is largely serviced by imports.

DKLOW (PTY) LTD is currently operating from Itsani Village in the Vhembe district of Limpopo. Itsani is surrounded by semi- urban areas, namely Thohoyandou, Makhado and Giyani, which are all experiencing a great surge in economic activities. Itsani Village makes up part of the 47,7% of the entire Vhembe district’s population that lives in Thulamela Local municipality

Our achar is sold at differing quantities ranging from 500g to 5kg and consists of Carrots and Cabbage Vegetables

Our strategy with regards to the production of fish is to grow and sell them according to different sizes and prizes.
